GAIA MISSION

For Orbiter 2016





The mission consist to launch the Gaia satellite and place it at the L2 Lagrange point of the Sun - Earth couple.
At this point he will remain in theory on a Gaia-Earth-Sun axis and will be able to make observations of all the universe.

The Gaia satellite is dedicated to measuring the position, distance, and movement of stars.
It is equipped with a Sun-shade which can be deployed using the K key.
