Cayenne-Rochambeau (now Félix-Éboué) is the international airport of French Guiana, located approximately 15 km from Cayenne and 50 km from Kourou.

It has a 3800 m runway oriented at 80°, capable of accommodating wide-body aircraft, and is primarily used to serve the Guiana Space Centre (CSG). (See documentation).

The first version (v1) of this airport (buildings and scenery) was created by Papyref.

This new version for Orbiter 2024 integrates local surface tiles with high-definition ground textures, as well as ground markings and lighting created by Jacquesmomo, who also improved the textures and animations of some vehicles (thank you to him for his remarkable work!).

It also includes five animated vehicles to enhance the airport: a fuel truck, a bus, a Jeep, a Renault 4L, and a tractor (capable of pulling the DeltaGlider and the bus), as well as a helicopter and a Douglas DC-6. All are fully functional in Orbiter 2024

Numerous scenarios allow players to familiarize themselves with the operation of the vehicles. In particular, several scenarios showcase Jacquesmomo's superb DC-6, allowing players to pilot it through numerous missions and challenges.

A tutorial and its included scenarios, created by Papyref, allow players to take a round trip from Rochambeau to Kourou CSG to admire Jacquesmomo's superb creations in flight. Of course, you'll need to have the Kourou CSG add-on installed in Papy's Hangar, which is highly recommended!

Read the user manuals located in the Doc/Rochambeau folder for instructions on using all vehicles and aircraft and completing the tutorial.

For the design and animation of ground and air vehicles, we use well-known modules whose downloads are included in this "Rochambeau" package. These are:

- General_Vehicle by Fred18 (for ground vehicles)
- Spacecraft 3 and 4 by Vinka (for animating certain vehicles)
- Vessel Builder by Fred18 (for the DC-6)

Praferably use OrbiterSound by DanSteph instead XRSound wich is included in Orbiter 2024
The scenery is compatible with the D3D9 client included in Orbiter 2024
To instal unzip the Rochambeau_V5 file in your folder Orbiter 2024 and overwrite the file the existing files if prompted
