Vol Diamant A N°2 Satellite D1A "Diapason"

February 17th, 1966. D1A "Diapason" is the second French satellite launched by a Diamond A rocket from the base of Hammaguira (Algeria).

With seven scenarios, this add-on makes you relive not only this mission in its entirety (from February 10th, 1966 till February 17th, 1966), but also its historic and media impact thanks to the insertion in the scenarios of some authentic radio news containing reports as well as interviews (all in french) from Hammaguira.

The user's manual is in french, I apologize for international users but making this add-on was a arduous work and I didn't have enough motivation left to translate it into english.

Nevertheless if you understand french, you have to know it was voluntarily written in order to give the maximum of anecdotes as well as the main historical facts. It contains also a good number of photos and documents trying to recreate the life of the scientists, engineers or technicians involved in this mission. Consequently, this manual is by itself an essential complement to this add-on insofar as the details relating to some of the avalable scenarios and radio news will be detailed inside it.

A four pages short story (in french) is also included in this add-on. It tells about the journey of one of CNES technician from Paris to Hammaguira prior to the Diamant A N°2 launch.

IF FRENCH IS UNDERSTOOD, READING OF THE USER'S MANUEL IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
